HTG excited for first time exhibition at Offshore Technology Conference

HARVEST TECHNOLOGY GROUP MAKES ITS DEBUT AT OFFSHORE TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE

Offshore Technology Conference Visit Harvest Technology at Stand 1765
April 24, 2023:

Harvest Technology Group (Harvest) is excited to announce its first-time exhibition at Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, Texas in May. As the world’s biggest offshore energy technology conference, with over 24,000 professionals expected to attend, OTC presents an incredible opportunity for Harvest to showcase its cutting-edge tech stack to the industry.

Harvest connects onshore and offshore operations like never before, harnessing its Nodestream™ proprietary technology to deliver decision-making quality video, audio, and data securely, in real-time, at a fraction of the bandwidth typically required.

Originally born in the offshore industry, Nodestream™ was developed to overcome communication challenges and meet the growing demand for bandwidth-efficient streaming on offshore platforms, assets, vessels, and uncrewed surface vehicles (USVs).

From streaming CCTV to an onshore hub, controlling and streaming ROV video to stakeholders via the web, remote expert capability on vessels to commission or inspect equipment remotely, or remote streaming of video, audio, and data for autonomous vessels, Harvest’s technology stack has been tested and proven in the offshore energy industry, with over 100,000 operational hours since 2020, a reduction of more than 5 million HSE exposure hours and resulting in greater than $250 million in operational savings.

OTC is a central hub for the future of the offshore energy industry. By reducing the need for transportation and minimising the number of people required offshore, remote operations can significantly reduce the environmental impact of offshore energy operations, making it an important component of the industry’s future.

“Harvest is delighted to be exhibiting at one of the world’s leading offshore industry conferences. The offshore and energy sectors are of particular importance to us as our technology solutions have been specifically developed to solve problems in these sectors,” said Andy Freeman, Head of Sales EMEA.

Following on from a successful partnership at Oceanology Americas and Subsea Expo in February, Harvest is once again partnering with Digital Edge Subsea at OTC.

Digital Edge Subsea provides state of the art software and digital video inspection systems for the oil and gas industry and this recent partnership enables their customers to access Harvest’s bandwidth-optimized streaming within the DVR products to securely stream video to stakeholders.

“Our recent partnership with Digital Edge Subsea will allow users of their digital video recording systems to stream video and data directly to the web without the requirement to mobilise additional hardware in what is being seen as a game changer for the subsea inspection market. One which serves to reinforce our commitment to these sectors,” said Andy Freeman.

Harvest Technology Group looks forward to welcoming existing and new connections to our stand at OTC.  To learn more about our range of remote operations solutions, visit us at Stand 1765 from May 1-4 in Houston, Texas.
