Transforming UAV capabilities with advanced video streaming technology.
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have revolutionised safety inspections on power lines, pipelines and other essential resources. But even with operators inspecting miles of infrastructure and reporting findings to their team, without onsite expertise problems can take too long to resolve.
Harvest’s Nodestream™ enables high definition video and data to be livestreamed from the operator to your team members anywhere in the world on any network, satellite, terrestrial, private, or public. Now operators, UAVs, and the entire team can be reliably connected.
A new standard operating procedure for UAV monitoring and inspection
Your entire remote inspection team, your clients, and any necessary third-party can now securely join your live UAV inspections. Whether they’re in a control room back at base, in their offices watching on their laptops, or even working from home, the team can see developments happening in real-time to offer resolutions, operational direction, and control like never before. Harvest’s UAV inspection solution enables safe and efficient Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations that set new standards for the industry.
Utility and powerline inspection
With UAVs, the role of the technician can switch from potentially putting themselves in precarious, dangerous positions, into what they do best: diagnostics and analysis. Better safety leads to a happier and more conscientious workforce, in addition to overall reduced costs and better quality of work. See more of your assets in less time. Quicker, faster, and cheaper so you can send one drone instead of a team of people. Make decisions faster. As key team members, knowledge experts, and stakeholders see the inspection in real time, they can make critical decisions while the drone is still in the air.

Make decisions faster
As key team members, knowledge experts, and stakeholders see the inspection in real time, they can make critical decisions while the drone is still in the air.
Set up experts in a single location, anywhere in the world and assess infrastructure in extreme locations, saving time, cost, and resources
Experts can run operations from safe locations and be out of harms way
Reduced environmental footprint
Operations no longer burn fuel or oils transporting personnel and equipment to remote sites.
Time to resolution
Fly quickly from one asset to another following a developing event, and immediately identify where ground crews should execute solutions
UAV satellite direct decision-making quality video below 100kbps
In conjunction with Inmarsat Aviation – satellite direct UAV BVLOS capability, enabled and proven through live payload control, over ultra-low bandwidth with ultra-high point-to-point encryption. Using an updated Harvest Technology Group Nodestream™ protocol on the TTP BRMworks Blueprint terminal with Omnidirectional antenna, HTG have successfully trialled direct to satellite video streaming and control functionality on a Matrice 600 UAV, with streams near real-time (1-2s latency) at less than 100kbps over the Inmarsat ELERA network via LEO constellation.
Complete with onboard satellite terminal and all associated hardware at less than 15kg weight, the UAV was locally controlled with no additional hardware or connectivity required at ground control station.
Simple, clean, back-to-base video from a small drone from anywhere in the world.
