HARVEST WINS THREE YEAR CONTRACT WITH DOF SUBSEA ON ESSO DECOMMISSIONING PROJECT

Harvest’s ultra-low-bandwidth, high-quality and secure technology will play a key role in DOF Subsea’s (DOF) three-year contract with Esso Australia (Esso) to decommission ExxonMobil’s extensive offshore oil and gas infrastructure in the Bass Strait.

Decommissioning of offshore facilities involves highly hazardous tasks for people, assets,
and the environment, and requires technical and engineering experts to
safely manage the process.

Harvest’s technology will be installed on the Multi-Purpose Supply Vessel, ‘Skandi Darwin’ which means subject matter experts, task specialists and project managers can view work
remotely, without the need for large numbers of personnel on the vessel. This not
only decreases delays and expensive travel costs but also improves project
safety and schedule achievement.

This partnership with DOF is a key part of Harvest’s Phase 2 strategy for income
growth and diversity.

“We are excited about developing our relationship with DOF as they extend their footprint here in Australia and look forward to supporting them as they expand their remote
operations presence across the globe,” said Jimmy Dean, Harvest Technology
Group’s Head of Solution Architecture.

Harvest’s AVR2™ hardware powered by the Nodestream™ transfer protocol will be installed on the MPSV Skandi Darwin in the coming weeks
